How we handle your personal data at Kintsugi Workout.
Last updated: August 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Kintsugi LLC, doing business as Kintsugi Workout ("Kintsugi Workout," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through the Kintsugi Workout app, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
The information we collect depends on the features you use.
We collect this information when you provide it, when you permit access through your device, automatically when you use the Services, and from services you connect or use to purchase or access the Services.
We use personal information to:
We may send promotional communications where permitted. You can unsubscribe using the instructions in the message.
Connecting Apple Health or Health Connect is optional. If you grant permission, the Services may read or write workout type, date and time, duration, calories, distance, and steps when available. Synced records may be stored with your Kintsugi Workout account so that we can display workout history and calculate progress. We do not intentionally request clinical records or diagnoses through these integrations.
We do not sell health or fitness information or use it for advertising, marketing, or advertising-related data mining. We disclose it only at your direction, as needed to provide features you request, to service providers that help us securely operate the Services, or when required by law. Service providers may use it only to perform services for us and must protect it appropriately.
You can disconnect a health platform through the app and revoke Kintsugi Workout's permissions in your device settings. Disconnecting stops future access but does not automatically delete information already imported. Where offered, you may choose to delete imported workouts when disconnecting, or you may delete your account.
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
We may use or disclose information that has been aggregated or deidentified so that it cannot reasonably identify you. We do not sell personal information.
We and our service providers use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, measure use, secure the Services, and improve performance. You can limit browser cookies through your browser settings, although some features may not work properly.
Third-party content, such as an embedded YouTube video, may allow that third party to receive technical information and set its own cookies when the content loads or plays. The third party's privacy policy governs its practices.
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no uniform standard for these signals, the Services do not currently respond to them. We honor legally required privacy controls where applicable.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain security, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the type of information, why we use it, and applicable requirements.
You can delete your account using the account controls in the Services. Account deletion removes or deidentifies personal information associated with your active account, subject to limited exceptions. Information may remain temporarily in backups, transaction and compliance records may be retained as required, and content already shared with or copied by others may remain with those recipients. We may also retain information needed to prevent fraud or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription billed by an app store or another payment provider. Cancel that subscription separately through the provider.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions.
You can update certain account information in the Services, control health and notification permissions through the app or device settings, unsubscribe from promotional email, and delete your account through the account controls. You may also submit a privacy request to hello@kworkout.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where we operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Services, law, or our practices. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. We will request consent before using personal information for a materially different purpose when applicable law requires it.
For privacy questions or requests, contact Kintsugi LLC at hello@kworkout.com.
